Ridgeview’s Background:
Ridgeview has changed a lot since their start in the early 1960’s. What was once a small, 45-bed hospital is now an award-winning healthcare network with four hospital campuses and a multitude of clinics across the southwest Minneapolis Metro.
Ridgeview had a fine line to walk— they needed to maintain brand recognition while also differentiating themselves.
Ridgeview also wanted to modernize. Made before the days of modern design files, the original hand-drawn logo had been duplicated over and over until it had become noticeably blurry. They needed something as crisp and clean as their operating tables.
Ridgeview’s Challenge:
Revitalize Ridgeview’s brand identity while maintaining brand recognition to nurture patients both new and old.

Update Ridgeview’s brand package, both visually and technologically. Identify and translate key design elements needed to maintain brand recognition. Illustrate Ridgeview’s dependability, compassion, and evolution.

Wave motifs echo previous sun and sail imagery
Bold typography exhibits strength and a long history
Rounded, flowing elements bring a softness to the icon— reminiscent of Ridgeview’s commitment to kindness, compassion, and intuition.
